The B.A. Rudolph Foundation is pleased to announce the selection of Mary Bruce as its first Executive Director. She joined our team today, January 24, 2018. The selection was made after an extensive national search and selection process.

“Mary’s history of public service and her commitment to helping young people perfectly aligns with the work and values of the Foundation,” said Rebecca Davis, co-founder and board member, who led the search committee. “She is everything we envisioned for our next leader. Like B.A., Mary cares for others with both action and passion. She is full of energy, humor, and has B.A.'s will to make things happen.”

For nearly two decades, Mary has supported the development and growth of young leaders and the scale and impact of social sector organizations, including through work with America’s Promise Alliance, the Boston Public Schools, City Year, the College Board, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Grad Nation campaign, and MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership. She recently served as co-executive director of AmeriCorps Alums, the only national network supporting the nearly one million alumni of AmeriCorps.

“Representing the incredible legacy of a leader that was committed to fostering young leaders is a tremendous and exciting honor.” said Mary, “I am eager to step into this role, helping emerging women leaders, especially women of color, grow in public service and STEM fields.”
